FUCK
People have a lot of qualms with the word — Fuck lately.
Like it’s this terrible thing.
Can’t use it publicly.
Can’t use it in posts.
Can’t use it on videos and so on and so forth.
But why?
Why does the word — ‘Fuck’ have such a terrible reputation when it means so many things to different people?
Is it really derogatory or is just a unique expression much like the word unicorn?
LOL — I was really trying to look for a way to place a unicorn in my post and here we are! LOL
But I digress…
Now where was I?
Oh yes, the word — FUCK.
Now say it, just say the word — FUCK even if you’re in your office right now and Suzie from HR is standing right there looking at you.
Go on, say it!
I double dare you!
Now isn’t there a sense of relief when you say it?
How about Puck? Or Luck? Or Muck?
Does it feel the same?
No. I think not.
A lot of online influencers use the word Fuck and get a ‘bad’ reputation for saying it. I would even go as so far to say WOMEN get more flack for saying it then men! #truthconfetti
Now if we look at online influencers who say it — Think the Gary V’s of the world! And when asked, aren’t you afraid of losing followers — his response is more like this… ‘he doesn’t give a FUCK!’ Because you’re not the one he’s trying to connect with in the first place and if it offends you, he — much like I, are not willing to change our behaviour, especially if it’s authentic self, to go people please #peoplepleasing is for losers!
I consider it more of a screening process myself more than anything.
I know a lot of business people say the word fuck often, usually behind closed doors or among collegues, and much like the King’s Speech —
It’s something that provides great relief. Much like the word defecation.
So whether it’s Fuck, Shit, Cock, Balls or Pussy (whose reputation is thankfully making it’s way back due to #FEMINIST reclaiming this word!)
We can all move forward in the direction of #AuthenticSelf and allow ourselves to say, feel, and be whoever we want in any given moment in time to truly express our authentic self without fear, judgement or persecution from other — who doesn’t even exists!
But I digress.
Because at the end of the day, really…
